I had a great time operating in the ARRL-SS this year. I have participated as a QRP op the last few years and decided to do so again for 2008. While I was unable to maintain any long-term runs, I did enjoy several short runs whenever I could find an open frequency. The "open" frequency used "closed" within a few minutes when QRO station fired up either directly on or extremely nearby. In all fairness, I suspect that the other station could not hear me. That's ok..that's the life of QRP. Move..hit..move...hit... :)
I missed the sweep again as I never heard NWT, MS, or ND. I would like to get a sweep, but I usually focus on overall score so try to keep the Qs adding up. As a result, I didn't tune around enough looking for needed mults. I wound up with 612 contacts and 77 mults ni 23 hours.
Thanks to all for the fun time.
