11/29/2008 | K7MM/VE2 Quec power from Quec! Five watts is fun! It was a kind of "Who's on first" routine with some fills. For example:

Other station: "Whats your precedence?"

K7MM/VE2: "Quec, Quec."

Other station: "No, not your section, your precedence?"

K7MM/VE2: "Quec, Quec."

Other station: "OK, and what's your section again?"

K7MM/VE2: "Quec, Quec."


I operated with a low, OCF dipole and 5 watts from an accommodating bed and breakfast near Hudson, QC.


This entry should be the new Quec SSB QRP record; the previous record was zero! SS SSB QRP is definetly an endurance test. Heard all sections, worked 53.
