11/30/2008 | AA8BV I had a very enjoyable time operating the 2008 Phone Sweepstakes. Due to time limitations, I was only able to operate 8 hours of search and pounce. I did manage 161 QSOs and worked 60 sections with a low power entry. The photograph was taken on Sunday morning. That is myself in the foreground and Jeff, K8JAD, in the background. I met Jeff on the 40 meter novice band in 1973 and we have been friends since. Bob -- AA8BV
