04/18/2002 | W4/G3ZCZ Operating via a remote base in Northern Virginia. I claim the first non-US entry in the ARRL November Sweepstakes via an Internet remote base. It was fun to get on and try a few contacts via the Internet. The delays made operating a challenge. Wish I had thought of doing so earlier, might have made a lot more contacts. -- W4/G3ZCZ
