09/16/2002 | W8SSS Although I did not enter my log for the contest,I really had a great time giving the other hams in the contest points,I was basically in it for the fun.This was my 2nd attempt in SS.I was close to a sweeep,only lacked 3!will do better this year in 2002!I was using a Kenwood TS140S with G5RV JR.Dipole ant.up 16 ft.in the attic of my house!Not bad for a flea powered stn!I made over 220 QSO's!This year I have new call of W8JWA,so be on the lookout for me in next SS!73's & happy contesting!Jim,W8JWA -- W8SSS
