2009 ARRL Straight Key Night

Hi:
The 2009 SKN event was another very enjoyable night. I was using my old J-45 key strapped around my right leg.
The J-45 key actually is a J-37 key mounted on a U shaped spring steel clamp that fits in the leg for use on aircraft, jeeps or other vehicles. The J-45 key is also hinged so it can be also used in a desk (nonetheless uncomfortable). The connector cable in anchored to avoid tension.
Was fun to QSO with some FB CW fists. Mac KZ1A from VA with an HK-3M Hamkey, Mike - W2MJN from Warwick, NY with old Drake and Chuck - K4HF from Raleigh, NC whose Dad used to work in the former Panama Canal Zone. Very nice CW fists all of them.
I want to congratulate all the participants in this 2009 SKN; especially my friends from HP-land Cam HP1AC and Rene HP1DCP who managed to be also present in this very pleasing event. Paz y un Feliz A for all and really hope to found you again next year.
