01/02/2009 | K3Y/9 My First SKN, and it was quite fun!! I am a Member of a Group known as the Straight Key Century Club (SKCC), hence the K3Y callsign. I became active after a long hiatus from CW mainly in "rebellion" against the
end of the requirement =0)

Had a great time, pounding out CW on my Navy Flameproof Key, which I like in particular because it is SO quiet.

Thanks to the ARRL for sponsoring the event, and the SKCC for working on making EVERY NIGHT A Straight Key Night!!
