01/02/2009 | AE3A SKN is one of my favorite activities. Since I was working on New Year's Eve and Day, I could not fit in more time and QSO's. Conditions also seemed poor - but perhaps my antenna was iced over here in Southern New York, since I was unable to tune the SWR to better than 2:1.

Equipment was a Yaesu FT-840, coupled to a chrome Nye Viking Master straight key, 50W to a dipole about 35 feet up.
