01/02/2009 | W4RK Seven (7) CW ops and several of their XYLs from the Mid-MO ARC in Jefferson City, MO held a SKN Party at the home of W4RK. After enjoying food and conversation, the men adjourned to the "Wireless Room" for a couple of hours of operating. An added treat was a display of vintage straight keys and bugs collected over the years by various members. Numerous contacts resulted before all headed home around 11 PM (we're not young any more). Participants included W4RK (host), N0SS, NN0B, N0EAX, WA0ZOG, W0ESE, and K9ZTV, outgoing club President. One of many highlights of the evening was working K6KPH at the Radiomarine Museum with Denise Snoops at the key. -- W4RK
