2009 ARRL Straight Key Night
The Radio Club of Tacoma is unique because it owns its own property- an old house (aka The Clubhouse) that is fixed up with a classroom, HF operating room, kitchen, and a Museum. Straight Key Night is held in the Museum and a potluck dinner affair is held in the kitchen and classroom areas.
This year the Museum Committee refurbished a couple of walls to make it look like the Old Man's Shack back in 1918 and some equipment and set up three separate Novice type stations. Two of the stations were operational and used to make SKN contacts.
