For this year's SKN, I used my old Novice station setup, consisting of a Kenwood TS-520-s and a Nye Viking Straight Key. I was able to make contact with 11 stations, including one with my Elmer, KB3ZS (Tim) which was the highlight of SKN for me! All contacts were made with members of the Straight Key Century Club (SKCC), except for the "Elmer" contact. I heard many fine signals, some that were reminiscent of my Novice days with the drift, chirps, and clicks! I'm sure that SKN was enjoyed by all the other stations as much as I enjoyed it. Thanks to the ARRL for sponsoring SKN, and thanks to all in SKCC for making it such a fine CW club. Happy New Year and 73 to all.
