01/03/2009 | WD5ABC I only had time to make a few contacts for SKN but it was nice to hear individual fists on the bands instead of everybody sounding the same and coming from keyers or keyboards. It was also interesting to hear some of the older rigs with a little bit of chirp or humm, it reminds me of the old days when you could tune across the CW band and recognize them before you heard the callsign.

I had a little bit of old and new by connecting my J37 key to my SDR 1 watt rig, thanks to those put up with my puny-weak QRP signal!
