01/04/2009 | K9ZTV CW ops and their XYLs from the Mid-MO ARC in Jefferson City, MO, held a SKN party at the home of one our members. After enjoying food and conversation, the men adjourned to the "wireless room" for a couple of hours of operating with an FT-2000 and Quadra Amp. An added treat was a display of vintage straight keys collected over the years by various members. Numerous contacts resulted before all headed home around 11 p.m. (we're not young anymore). Participants included W4RK (host), N0SS, NN0B, N0EAX, WA0ZOG, W0ESE, and K9ZTV. K9ZTV worked W1JS (NH), W4YOK (TX), and K6KPH (CA with Denise Snoops at the key).
