01/13/2009 | W1TPB Another great SKN. New Years eve conditions were very poor. I had two QSOs in 2 hours. But they were also long ones. New Years day was much better. I had a very interesting QSO with WB3DOM who had spent some time at FT Devens,MA. I started off with my new Spanish LLAVES key which is very pretty but could never get it to feel smooth. I returned to my 90 year old key that belonged to an Elmer who was a Navy RM WW! & 2. It isa very comfortable key to work.I always look forward to SKN, the slow speed and fun QSOs.
