01/07/2009 | W8JWN My best score ever thanks to the new 4 element StepIR. The Bi-Direction function helped get those calling me off the back. I used it for 75% of the contest. New 250Hz filter in the FT-1000MP also a great benefit. Now, if I could get off to a better start, I could really do a lot better next year. The first hour of the contest every year I only work 30-40 stations on 20 meters. The second hour 70-80. Go figure!
