02/26/2009 | NU4B I operated QRP in the contest. I was expecting poor conditions but ended up with 40 more QSO's than last year. 80 meters was great Friday night. 20 was fantastic Sunday and even 15 opened up to Europe on Sunday. It just goes to show that even at the solar minimum conditions can produce exciting results. I worked 3 new countries on 80 meters - UA2F, 9A, and D4 - so I was happy with the results.
Rigs - K2 @ 5 watts out; HW-9 @ 4 watts out
