02/27/2009 | K5MV Contest was fun except for 10 meters. Not much of a opening, but did OK on 80 through 15. 40 and 80 meters were good friday and saturday nights. Only worked the contest a few hours, but managed to make over 300 Q's using a 75 meter inverted V and 160 meter dipole with tuner. Thanks for the Q's everyone. Still haven't put the iron back in the air since IKE. I look forward to next year. -- K5MV
