03/09/2009 | KP3VA As a new entry to the contest world was KP3VA, running Multi (2) Operatos-Two Transmitters. KP3S, Carlos and NP3HM, Jorge as the operators. Only operated 40 out of 48 hours total, had some transmitter problems saturday and had to finish with only one transmitter but everything came ok towards the end of the contest and a pound of coffee gone!

Sunday we encounter a problem with the feedline to the Wilson SY-33 tribander and had to replace the coax in mid contest and back to working 10/15/20M bands.

KP3VA station was a Yaesu FT-950, Icom IC-730, Ameritron AL-811H running 500W, 80 & 40M Double Bazookas, Wilson SY-33 10/15/20M beam at 35 feet above ground, Gap Titan DX vertical mounted at 3 feet from the ground.
