03/10/2009 | W4HIJ My first contest after being without an HF radio for awhile. I put my new Yaesu FT450-AT to work and was pretty pleased with it overall. I'm not a serious contester. I pretty much just play in them but I have a blast. Biggest problem was Saturday night when the 40 meter dipole wouldn't tune up. Found one leg of it on the ground and it was too dark to fix it so I missed out on 40 that night.
Hope everyone will submit a log to LOTW so I can get some of the great DX I worked confirmed! -- W4HIJ
