06/15/2009 | W6AB What a great weekend for a VHF contest!

The weather remained cool and clear, and the refurbished Satellite Amateur Radio Club radio room made it a very enjoyable event. We were able to get all the bands we planned on operating on the air by contest start. W6AB operated all the amateur bands from 50MHz through 1296MHz.

Our operators were KA6BFB, W6RFH and N6VMO.

KA6BFB and N6VMO manned the station from Sat. 11:00AM until Sun. 00:00. N6VMO remained operating until 02:30 gathering some 144MHz grids via moon-bounce. N6VMO retired at 12:00 on Sunday and left KA6BFB and W6RFH busy running the station for the rest of the contest.
