06/16/2009 | N8QE The 6 meter band openings to Florida and the Southwest from Northeast Ohio were great. The 6 meter openings seemed to keep everyone away from 2 meters. Nothing heard to the Northeast or West from my QTH on 6 meters. Only had about 3 hours during the weekend to spend working the contest in between gutter cleaning, lawn mowing, power washing, and landscaping, but I had fun.....Bob -- N8QE
