K7IP/R
This was my first year as a rover. Personal commitments and some hurried last minute preparation limited my contest effort to about 3 hours on Sunday, and only on 6. The band was in fair shape, though. The Es was in and out with quite a bit of QSB, but having that 'Rover' in the call was like an extra 10 dB. CN88 isn't a rare square by any means, but it was an awful lot of fun anyway and whetted my appetite for more. I'll be up on 222 and 432 roving for the UHF contest in August!
The location is atop Cap Sante, in Anacortes, WA. Rig is a Ranger DX5054DX and a Moxon Rectangle. -- K7IP
