06/22/2009 | K4RQZ This was my first contest, and in fact my first solo simplex contacts I've ever made from my own home station since being licensed in Sep. 2008.
I operated 5W SSB(and possibly 2.5W by mistake) from FM18 and got a few FM19s and one EN41 with my FT-817ND + buddipole setup indoors. I had a terrific time.
