06/29/2009 | AB4EL I operated QRP battery "portable" from several spots in Raleigh, NC.
Folding chair, tent table, battery tube, ICOM, old tuner.
Used my car to anchor a wooden mast support and a multi-section aluminum tubular antenna with loading coil as needed.
Hot! But always found shade. :^) Thank you public parks.

Was disappointed that 15 and 10 were not open.
I am always happy to "do my Field Day" because it is the first event I ever operated as a kid.
