06/29/2009 | K2USA The Garden State Amateur Radio Assocation opearted Field Day from Dean Field at Fort Monmouth New Jersey. Signing the Fort Monmouth Amateur Radio Club call sign K2USA. With the help of the Fort Monmouth Fire Department we were able to place four pull up ropes over four of the eight light towers used at the baseball field. This allowed us to pull up a 1000 foot loop antenna that was design by club member Jim K2EI. -- N2LXM
