06/29/2009 | N4ECW This year i work Field Day at the Transworldantennas in Cookeville,Tennessee,Our antennas used was a TW-1010 10 meter TW-2010 5 band vertical dipole and a TW-4040 40 meter and TW-8080 80 meter Vertical Dipole ground mounted no radials used,the Radios was Icom IC-770 and Yaesu FT-857 and a FT-450 also we cover the 6/2/432 bands with loop antennas.Ted Randall was there with the Live Broadcast of the QSO Radio Show live from TrandworldAntennas FieldDay site,Ted and his team was great and they took calls from all over the USA and World calling in from there field day sites.The food was really great as K1ECW XYL of Michael N4ECW and the other XYL's put on a outstanding lunch and dinner for all.Michael's 12 year old XL Megan work over 500 contacts by herself and several time had several pileups' trying to work her.She did a very great job for he first time at field day.Op were N2BR W4SOH WA4SOH N4ECW K1ECW KJ4KJT plus Megan YL New Ham,Hope everyone had fun and we are planning for next year field day event..... -- N2BR
