07/24/2002 | KJ9C Had no intention of getting into a RTTY contest as I haven't operated RTTY since 1969 with an old TTY unit and paper printouts. But I heard all the action and jury-rigged the pkt TNC to the spare xcvr... then I soldered up a cable to the mic input (finally found a use for the mic input!!!) Next thing you know I am logging AFSK QSOs and then, after a couple hours, I figured I might as well see if I can get them into a format that will go to Cabrillo. -- KJ9C
