07/07/2009 | NC4CA Members of Four County ARES in north central North Carolina were fortunate enough to be offered the use of the Granville county Emergency Management multi-use facility for their Field Day event this year. Though we missed operating in the fresh air and open climate of the group campsite at Kerr Lake as we've done for the last several years, the absence of mosquitoes and abundance of reliable wireless internet access more than made up for the lack of waterfront scenery.
