07/03/2009 | N0BHT Lots of fun again. Took the Pinzgauer up about 2000 feet above the valley and setup camp. I used a new buddipole and hustler whip with resonators. Radios were the Icom 706 original and the Yaesu 817 for backup. The Pinzgauer makes an excellent camper and comfortable operating as well as will go anywhere you point it. I made 140 contacts until the batteries died. Until next year..... -- N0BHT
