07/03/2009 | W8WE The Intercity Amateur Radio Club and Richland County A.R.E.S. Group had our Field Day at the BlackFork Retreat. A great time was had by all that attended.
The Phone Operators and CW Operators were in a battle to see who could get the most contacts by the end of Field day. This year we had new Hams KD8KEH Rick New Tech,KD8FNQ Patty New General they both were trying there hand at Phone Operations. Patty was really interested in the Digital Modes. Patty tried PSK31 this year and really loved it she was a RTTY Operator in the Military. Some of the older hams got to show off there skills to the new hams.
