07/05/2009 | N4NRV The New River Valley Amateur Radio Club using the club call N4NRV held Field Day at beautiful Randolph Park in Dublin VA.We began set up on Fri. evening followed by a cookout that evening.Larry,W4LWM handled the cooking duties. His day job is a dentist but he is handy with the grill as well as the drill.
We tend to concentrate on good fellowship and good food.We were very successful.
The weather was gorgeous without drop of rain.
On Sat. we dined on barbeque brisket prepared by our club president,Len KC5EJR.We also enjoyed a visit by Bobby Clark,Emergency Management Coordinator,Pulaski County VA.
Our score was not especially high but we had a great time and are looking forward to next year. -- AI4RC
