07/07/2009 | W5PAA The Oklahoma City Aeronautical Center Amateur Radio Club win hands down the "Coolest" Field Day Encampment Site. I cooperation with Oklahoma (City or County ???) Emergency Management their Field Day site consisted of a "MASH" type ten. Insulated and AIR CONDITIONED, this site was a godsend in the 100 degree plus outdoor temperatures. In addition to operating HF,VHF,and UHF they also had an OSCAR ground station. Great Job! -- KL7MA
