07/10/2009 | VE5MA Another field day in the books. This year as usual, hearty souls made the pilgrimage to field day 2009. Sukanen Pioneer Ship Museum was our location of preference, specifically the "fire hall". It provided us a cozy location to pray to the contact god and receive blessings of replies from other field day pilgrims. Frank VE5BBB, Doug VE5AXE, Dave VE5DLM, Tim VE5TNH,Lewis VE5LWS, Alex VA5AB. The WX cooperated very well and 284 contacts were made, all in all a good showing.
Barry VE5TRF and Branda VE5TRG could not attend due to their Nephew getting married that same weekend. Next year the family has been warned "this time we are going to field day, so no marriages the last week of June and first week of July"
