07/10/2009 | N3SH Despite obligations that limited my operating time, I had a blast as usual.

The Wireless Association of South Hills used a new operating locatiion this year, from the "old" Model Airplane Field in South Park, Allegheny County. Many seasoned FD'ers may remember this as the long-time operating location of the old South Hills Brasspounders & Modulators ARC, which has not used the site in quite a few years.

It turned out to be a great location, despite some challenges, and many club members are looking favorably on returning there again. -- W3WN
