Fifteen meters ended up being the main band used. The antenna was a folded dipole at sixty feet using one of the tallest trees out in the back of the back yard. That is where I operated last year as well, but then only a G5RV at forty feet was used. An eighty meter dipole was hung off the end of the fifteen meter antenna making it a long sloper to give me the option of three antennas. With the rig an Argonaut 515, five watts SSB with a fifteen watt solar panel for the deep cycle battery was used with out worrying about running out of power. If there had not been shade the heat would have driven me indoors. The humidity was pretty high, but there was an occasional breeze that helped. More pictures and comments at ke4ke.com, Tim. -- KE4KE
