07/12/2009 | KC4WQ First time in 2 decades I missed the club site (KY4KY). Traveled to visit family in EPA. Original site was supposed to be on a mountain top. Family changed plans and ended up on a river bank between two big hills. Also went solar/battery. Got set up, then the sun went on vacation. It tried to rain but I was so far down in the valley the rain never got to me!!!! Goal was 100 Q's and to work the club station. Heard them twice but they were working others and I couldn't get their attention. All in all a great 3 hours and got the 100 Q's in the log. -- KC4WQ
