07/12/2009 | N7T This year we included a special event station in our Field Day. The N7T Wilson Creek special event station. We operated from the rim of scenic Wilson Creek Canyon near Ellensburg, Wa. It's also a great Radio location.

There were 5 operators involved this year: AC7MA - Rich, N7T - Robert, KE7DTE - Jake, KC7WNB - John, and WA7NCL - Bill. The main emphasis as usual was CW, however a few SSB contact were made. We also included a new station for us, 6m VHF. Unfortunately we did not catch any 6m opening.

Every year Field Day allows us to combine the outdoors, ham radio, and renewed friendships. It really doesn't get any better than that.
