07/28/2009 | K7NS K7NS class 2B battery. Operated 20 meter cw and psk31. Also operated 40 meter cw.

Operators were Nyle Steiner K7NS and Paul Steiner AC7QJ

All 20 meter operation was 5 watts from 12 volt batteries. 40 meter cw was 1/2 watt from 8 AA batteries.

20 meter antenna was dipole up about 23 feet using pvc pipe and rope guy wires. 40 meter antenna was 3/8 wave wire strung over a 16 foot fiber glass paint handle pole with a 1\4 wave wire laying on the ground.

Location was about 30 miles west of Lehi, Utah. -- K7NS
