08/03/2009 | W4AMP Had a lot of fun this year running an Icom 910H and a Create 5130-2n log periodic. Need to get a 220 transverter, just have FM. I am completely blocked towards W4WA, was able to work him by reflecting off of Atlanta on 432. Weather played havoc here in Georgia part of the operating time. Heavy rain blocked AF4OD/R right after our qso. W4ZRZ sounds great everywhere. Learned a lot, look forward to next year. -- W4AMP
