09/14/2009 | WA1RKS Considering we had no openings,(not from here anyway!) it was a gud effort by me this time. took few off hours, missed first three(went to a flea mkt)so got on abt 5pm, Still need to do some serious antenna work, all planned, just no time. Hope to have it done for SS. 432 was my glory this time! almost doubled my highest contact amount,In lieu of my location it was a grand effort! and reward. Almost snagged KA2LIM on 432 this time, heard him fine, but didn't make the return haul.Also need to get my 22 el on 2m horiz.That 20-30db loss hurts! So maybe in Jan!!
