07/24/2002 | NE3H Great Conditions for the contest! Friday evening I discovered that the 80 meter antenna was 'Out to Lunch'. Saturday had a high of 38F and was windy. So, there I was... a contest with no 80 meter antenna. With a lot of luck an effort I managed to improve last year's score. So I had to hit the other bands hard.
