11/09/2009 | W8BI This was my first serious solo effort at a contest. It was casual, hunt'n'pounce for sections, and turned out to be a real education on the lower bands -- there was actually some EU DX on 160, and our wire antennas are better than I thought. Next year, some custom designed 80 and 160 cages will be up and running. A great weekend -- I gotta do this more often! -- KA8OQF
