11/09/2009 | N5PU Took XYL to hospital 2 days before sweeps for emergency gall bladder surgery, so couldn't spend a lot time in test, but had a ball on 40 meters! Gave my new Flex 5000A a wring-out on CW! Love this new SDR! Hope hurricane IDA slows downs or fizzles out before it gets here, Katrina did too much damage to us here on the coast of Mississippi, including my beam. Just using the old 5BTV ground mounted verticle! Looking forward to SSB, if I have any antennas left after IDA!
