This beats raking leaves for fall cleanup, that's for sure! Instead I spent Saturday AM putting final tweaks on my 40 and 80 meter antennas. It seemed to all be worth it. I was pleasantly suprised to hear nice band conditions along with increased activity from QRPers and newcomers alike. When I worked John, N6HI (QRP with a wire out the window), on 40 meters at about 20 minutes before the end of the contest, the contact took about 4 minutes to complete, but knew that this was one of the many facets that make this contest so great. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. (And, hey, lets get some more Long Islanders on the board for next year. We know you guys are out there!...H I)
PRE-LCR Score: 1152 / 79 = 182,016 SINGLE-OP HIGH
Thanks to all for the contacts & have a Happy Thanksgiving!
