11/24/2009 | WB4OMM Wow! Another Nov SS Phone weekend come and gone!! (Kinda' like the "Lost Weekend", huh?).....

Still working "barefoot" to a ground mounted vertical (Whew! I can HEAR great, but transmitting is a whole 'nother story!). I even used my last Clean Sweep cup from 2004 for good luck.....but alas, only 70 sections (although I HEARD another 6 but the antenna just couldn't make the trip...and believe me, I tried!). Never heard a Mississippi, West Central Florida, Alaska or Yukon station. Still my favorite contest!! There's always next year!
