Many people wonder what it takes to have a competitive score in the low power category from west of the Rockies. I believe it takes the following: Excellent TX antenna, Low noise receive antenna and environment, Good operator, Cooperation of the weather and propagation gods. Lack in any two areas and you are out of the picture.
This year the propagation was fantastic with far more Dx in the log than previous years. The snow stayed away until Monday. With that said what more could one ask for? The answer, another 100K !
Thanks to all those who gave me a contact.
