12/16/2009 | HB9DHG It was really a strange contest. I'm very happy at the end of that contest and proud for the result even if I started it without pretending anything as a score. Started lately during Sunday I was hoping to catch some more US calls but no prop at all. On the other side, Sud and Central America calls were clearly audible late in the evening. So, for the time and conditions I had (about 1kw) it was a positive experience (what else if you enjoy using CW ?).
I do really hope to have more time and hear much more US friends next year.
