12/16/2009 | N6KZ Operating from northern AZ, enjoyed a slow but steady QSO rate on both Friday and Saturday, working mostly stations in the western USA. Lots of TX and WA and a few CA stations. Nothing heard east of the Mississippi until Sunday. Band really opened up in the final 2 hours to give me a bunch of southeastern states. Never heard any W1s or W2s and few W3s. Did hear locals W7YS, N6SS, and KB7HH doing pretty well so knew that there was life in the band. Will do it again next year with a bit higher antenna and a bit higher RF output. -- N6KZ
