01/04/2010 | WB Used my 1970 Novice transmitter again this year. My Dad & I built it from a January 1957 QST article by Lewis G. McCoy W1ICP: "6L6GBs in a 2 Stage Novice Rig". Quite a bit of QSB on 40M this year but had a number enjoyable QSO's using a 7060Khz XTAL. -- WB
