01/07/2010 | KC8UR Operated the 2010 SKN with a 1981 vintage Kenwood TS-820s. It is known as a "hybrid".
The Driver is a 12BY7 and the final section has two 6146B tubes. I used two hand keys during the event : A Hi-Mound HK-705 purchased from Morse Express and a small KK-1 Hand key purchased from American Morse. Both keys were equally functional. I made a total of 12 QSO's and really enjoyed Bringing in The New Year by operating SKN!
